Has anyone ever benched one of these amps to see what the true 4 ohm output is? Everyone states they are considerably under rated but I can't find their true output at 4 ohm. The manual only states 50 x 2.

I had one tested a few years back. Was just under 1k @ 4 ohms. Not sure if that was normal. I have a few others but never tested any of them or my NT amps.

I love em though.

What? 1K at 4 ohms bridged? Anyways, I am looking for the real rms stereo output at 4 ohms per channel.

They were rated similar to the NT amps actually. I would have to look through my books to see if I can find the claimed RMS per channel. Yes that was bridged of course and on a 4 ohm dummy load.

They are the same as the NT amps except for the color of the heatsink. However, even the NT manual doesn't state the true output. It too states 50 wrms per channel for the NT100.

Just hoping someone has actually benched one of these to provide insight into the true rms output at 4 ohms per channel.

Well they are slightly different from the NT. Regardless, my honest guess would be around 300-400 x 2 daily rms and hella clean at that. I may have to get one out of storage over the next few weeks and see what it does lol...got me wondering now.

So as highly regarded as these amps are, no one here has ever put one on the scope?
