***WOOOHOOO***
well I found out my whole problem. Here while back I made a post about my Orion P series not sounding very good at all in the box I created for them.
Well, The whole entire problem was not my correctly built box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It was the cheapy *** sterio head unit I was using to play the subs from.
Every time they started getting loud, the head unit would cut off .. Causing me to think that my ebay purchased Orion HCCA 250 was scaringly a problem. Well Thats not the case after all. So I went ahead and spent the bucks on my beautifull
Pioneer DEH-7800MP color screen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
This is the loudest system I have ever had in my life !!!!! It bangs so hard in the back of my van that it has set the bench mark on what I expect from any system.
The rights to brag about banging this hard from a 50Wx2 amplifier gives me gratitude un-explained. I thought I spent all this money for nothing at one point, but the Pioneer DEH 7800MP changed it all around.
System is as follows:
Pioneer DEH 7800MP color screen
2 10" Orion P series
1.8cubic ft box for both -> Mono
Orion HCCA 250 Digital Refference amplifier.
Local Audio Shops TL metered at the dash 138DB's -> Bia Bia
((SEALED BOX)).
Metered 142DB's on Late NIght tip -> Little John
The hardest it hit total was 142.4 DB's at the dash. It was 145DB's at the rear seat, and 143.6 at the mid captain seats of the van.
I dunno if I want to go louder than this !! It's perfect.
My only complaint is the subs get loud, but the power has to be on them before their getting loud.
They bounce everything around , make my roof flex and moves a plastic bag around in my front seat !
Im a very happy camper ! The only thing I may ever change is the Big 3, and every now and then experiment with new subs !!
**ANY RECOMENDATIONS FOR subwoofers being hit with 800WRms For a Van ???**
Im going to buy stuff to try out all the time now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
