Orion HCCA5000 and 2500D differences

As you can see, they are two completely different amps.

I think it looks like the D5000 powersupply is a lot better than the one in 2500D.

Regarding the damping factor, it's always been rated >50 on both... I don't feel any lack of control on my XXXs.

the newer amp is more powerful, however it has more protection also. it also has full alarm intergration as well as bitwriter adaption to set all your controls.

so far, no one that has posted in this thread has had any first hand experience with these amps cept for me. The next person to come close would be crxbumpin, but i dont think he has had any shipped to him yet.

the bs 13.8 vs 14.4 ratings are just that, bs ratings. as regulated as these amps are, you wont notice the difference between the .6 volts.
