Orion HCCA5000 and 2500D differences

Hello new to the forum here. I was looking to get one of these two amps and was looking to see if there were going to be any differences between the 2? Are there any advantages in either one of these models, or are they pretty much the same? Thanks for any replys!!!

i hear that they are actually different....d5000 has more extras relating to ease of use and security....

Orions newest lineup is rated for 14.4v, last years model is 13.8

New lineup also has a SHITTY damping factor lol

im not quite sure how much it really matters when you are dealing with subs...

different boards too. not to mention the security features.... only testing will tell the true differences. it is sexy though................

from what i hear the new ones are also rated at 13.8v.........i heard through he grape vine that Shane aka HCCAFan cleared up the confusion on that earlier when they were first releasin them

plus it doesnt really make sense why they would make the new line less powerful......but i who knows i guess

Thanks for the replys, and by the way I did use the search function!! May be new to this forum but not forums in general. There just was no posts showing the differences between the 2 of them!! And I have 1 more question! If the WCC 5000 is that same as the 2500D, just with a different logo and end caps why is it going so much cheaper online???? Thanks again!

Right hand side, right under the "d5000"- 2500 rms at 1 ohm, 14.4

Also rated at 1000 at 4 ohms.....last years were rated at 1200 at 4.

Not much of a difference, but still different.
