ORION HCCA 250 possibly will sell

OK my little amplifier which is an Orion HCCA 250 Digital Reference problably hits the hardest out of any amplifier I have ever owned. Now, Due to the nature that it gets hot very quickly and is not very efficiant I am considering going to a Hifonics Brutus 1500 - 2000kw.

I know they dont do rated unlike my Orion does + more, but I really am tired of melting 100A fuses every now and then.

I dont understand whats causing this.. Maybe a bad fuse box, not thick enough power wire (2 5 guage power wires, wired together to be as one wire) LOL..

Anyways.. Is there anything that could keep this amplifier from getting so hot @ 1 ohm and melting my 100A fuses ?

I really dont like how hot it gets + I am possibly going to get 2 Mach 5 mj-18's to try out.

Anyhow I may be willing to possibly trade if anyone has anything interesting. The costmetic and internal apearence of this amplifier is in almost new condition.

The operation of this amplifier is superb , nothing is wrong with it, or acts up. It just sucks the shit out of my electrical system, and I am considering moving to more power for a new set of subwoofers.

Or I will trade for a new\like new amplifier. I have already proved my 2 years of argueing to my cousins who show off. Just last week they got to see all my argueing about ohms law this and ohms law that when we metered their 4 10" Visonik subwoofers being pushed by 2 Visonik amplifiers vrs. My pair of Orion P series 10" subs and this one HCCA 250 DR.

LOL I hit 6 DB's louder at the front seat of my VAN !!!! Vrs their 4 feet away subs in the back seat LOL... It was fkn great showing them what cheater amps are alllllll about.

however its a power hungry little SOB. I honestly think this thing outhits my Hifonics Brutus 1500D. Maybe I am wrong, but I could swear it hits harder.

I like it too much and love bragging that my 250W amp hits harder than peoples 800W BOSS or Pyle amps lol.. Most people just dont know jack about these amps and are just baffled at the DB numbers they produce.

We all know its a 50Wrms x 2 @ 4 ohm amplifier . People who dont know anything about these figures only see the HCCA 250 , and see my steering column bouncing and are just in denial that it hits harder on a meter and moves more objects than their 1000Watt amplifiers.

I just got paid too, so if a capacitor releaves this problem.. Then I wont sell, but will just reccomend you buying this amplifier from someone or somewhere. I got lucky getting it in such great cosmetic condition. I just dont have the $$ right now to be upgrading to thicker guage wire.. I am planning on a bigger battery but my VAN is my pimp mobile. Right now my car isnt running so that comes 1st before any new amp\subs.
