orion cobalt svc 8" subs for midbass?

hi all, I was wondering if anyone here has used these for a midbass speaker? I know I will need to use a bandpass x-over but how well do they work in this frequency range? And what kind of boxes ported or sealed would produce good SQ with good punch? Sorry if these questions sound stupid I am new to the car audio world, If there are any speakers that are reasonably priced that work better for midbass let me know. The rest of the system is infinity 6000cs up fron powered by 55rms each, 12" orion xtr (sealed box) powered by 220 rms, rear speakers are 652i infinitys powered by a 45rms amp. I would like to power the mid bass by a 70 rms each. like I said befor this is my first stereo project so if there is anything that I am doing that sounds like a major mistake let me know please!

we used them in an old install a few years ago, but it was in a small 2 seater as the sub, so different application then
