orion amp differences?

whats the diferense between the 2006 hcca-d2400 and the orion 2500d the chrome or silver looking ones? just curious cause the prices are way different.

hcca2400 is equivalent to the chrome and silver "1200D"

that 2500D is more like the hcca5000

dont quote me on this but Im thinking orion used the Max Power ratings in there model names to sell more amps to noobs....with the 2400 your going to get around 1200 watts like the 1200d and with the d5000 your looking at 2500 watts like the 2500d.

Price difference might also be due to one being on closeout and one being priced at MAP.

I would say the pricing difference has much more to do with one being twice as powerful as the other more than year-model...
