//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif keep me postd with results from the kicker i like mine i gaind 2db and my crappy voltage lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
My MD2 was the hardest on the elec. I had so far.

The 20.1 was easier at .5 DCR then the MD2 at .5 DCR.

ok then, as long as we agree on something. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I've been telling him for a while for him to fix his voltage issues, and he's working on that.

But its amazing how many people in this thread automatically assume that something is wrong because the IA lost. The fact of the matter is that for the IA to do its power, it draws a ton of current and needs the voltage to back it up.
Anytime you have to keep cut a amps load ohm wise you lose eff. thus you need more and more and more current. So it should be no surprise a 20.1 needs alot curretn wise to run really low.

But then whats the point of running one amp really low (thus ******* a lot of current) if another amp can do the same power at a higher ohm load?

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/iagree.gif.15d6c075ee8d3913ba26866d06993068.gif wouldnt it be better to get a zx2500.1 that does 2500ish@ 2ohm's then a amp that does less @ 1ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

and the IA sucks an assload of current when i had em strapped @ .25....an unbelieveable amount. at least in my setup it did. The way things are going I dont think I'll be running these amps at finals.

joe we have still have a seat reserved for you on the orion or kicker bandwagon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

^ thats was my point i was tryna say, took words rite from me. let us kno results from the kicker test and i kno y u wanna test at 1ohm. u crazy bastard lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
you know why I want to test @ 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

And i AM fixing my voltage problem. But even when I do fix it, why would i still ru n the 20.1's at a low load ******* lots of current, when the orions did 1.4 db's higher on the electrical system as it is, so when i fix the problem the orions would still do better since it will be stronger than just the 2 batteries in there now. common sense?

Tommy, I agree that the Orions seem to be a better choice in his install.

I also agree that his voltage needs to get steady before he will gain more. A point I see is what org he competes in. (2) 20.1's for me means that I can stay in 301-900 in USACi. The orion would put me into 901-1800 So I guess its all in where or what you are wanting for the system.

haha i'll be hoppin on one of em soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I agree
As do I. The 20.1's didn't work in my application, but they may work well in others. And the Orions may not work well in others situations but they worked well in mine. So many variables to cover. After the testing tomorrow I'll know what amp i will run @ WF.

and Tobias, SHHH. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif no givin out the secret answer yet.

Actually now that I look at the original post...

2 orions vs. 2 20.1s...Id go for the orions if class didnt matter. 2 orions wouldnt put me into 901-1800, it would put me into 1801+ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Power wise I definatly see why the orions won.
