Orion 2500d too much for my 2 12's?

I have 2 Kicker Solo Baric L7's (2006 Models)....I found a good deal on an Orion 2500d....is this too much power? it says 2500 RMS and 5000 Peak....subs together are 1500 RMS and 3000 Peak.....

Nah thats not too much for a pair of L7s... If ya set the gain with a DMM they'll eat that power up.

Cool...my buddy has one he's selling for 175 bucks....it has some minor scratches and the end caps are gone...but I am thinkin' about going with this rather than the Hifonics Brutus BXI 2006D

a 2500 d would be perfect for them, the 06 models can handle alot more than the 750 rms specs that kicker has given them. 2500 rms for 2 12" L7s would be good.

ima have 2 15" L7s on 3200 rms, when they are suppose to 1000 rms each. just make sure you set your gains correctly. check out my thread.

Yea...I am definitely going to take it then...DOWN WITH HIFONICS....and Up with ORION.....I have actually never experienced these amps first hand....but I hear great things...I am actually excited to buy this now....I just wanted to know if it was TOO much power....thanks guys

Should be ok using it on them ! I am running A hcca 5000d on 2 12 inch cvx's at 2 ohms and they are loving it! those l7's should be find down to 1 ohm and maybe even .5 just make sure your gains are set properly!
