The power and ground wire terminals won't hold 0 ga. So I have to use 4 ga? That doesn't make sense. Also, is it going to be bad if I only use one of each of the power/ground terminals? Is that just for an extra battery or should I go ahead and ground that sucker and everything too? Thanks.

It does make sense it only fits 4ga because thats how that amp was designed. Also it is not recommended to use just one set of power and ground terminals. I would think to see its full potential both sets of power and ground inputs should be utilized... you can always trim your zero gauge like jbizzle said if thats all you have on hand. Very nice amp by the way! GL

I just thought an amp with the ability to put out that much power would need 0ga. I guess that's what i get for thinking. and just run two power wires to the battery and two to a ground? could i use the same ground?

i am a bit of a newb, yes.

You can run some zero gauge into a distribution block as well and have 2 runs of 4ga... there are many options...
thats what i did with mine 1/0 into a disto with 2 runs of 4 guage to the amp, and yes use both of the power and ground terminals

okay sweet. can i use the same ground spot or no bueno on that?

and which one, distro block or wire reducers? both seem really easy and neither seem pricey at all. I just want to install this thing right so i'm actually getting power from it.
