orion 2500D concerns

I saw some thread before with testing done with the 2500D....they tested it at 1 ohm at 12.5 volts and it put out 26XX watts....
well i kno it'll do at least 2500rms at 1ohm but i want to kno the specs AT 3 OHMS!! thank you. i may just end up wiring it to .75 and go from there if no one can help me out. but i'll end up probly blowing the sub attempting to set the gains.

I doubt you'll blow anything.

at 3 ohms... it depends on your rise... but don't expect more than approx 650-1000 watts.

Now if you were runnign a JBL BPX 2200.1 3 ohms - 4 ohm you'd be quite happy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
and how much does it cost //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

thanks for the info. i'll have to wait til i get a new hu (in the process of a deal) cuz i wasn't getting any readings hardly at the speaker terminals. hopefully it was just my hu. amp's still under warranty if anything is wrong with it. thanks.
i would def wire it to .75.

whats your rca voltage ?

have you matched your gains correctly?

I would try tweaking with the amp to see if you can get more output, and if that fails, see how much rca voltage your getting.

when was the last time you charged your battery(s) with a battery charger?

1)idk *edit* well with the kenwood headunit i was using, the pre-outs were 2v

2)what gains if the amp barely pushed any power to the sub even maxxed?

3)and i can't tweak the amp cuz i have NO HEADUNIT installed whatsoever at this time

4)never

use a deck with 4-6 volts output, then retry the amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
