i plan on giving my 1200D(with gains set on it giving my sub a 1000 watts) its own run of 4 awg. its gonna be like 15-20 long. will i be okay?? if i turn gains up to get 1200 or even 1400 at .5 ohms will i still be okay??

Youll be fine.

Might run 1/0 for future upgrades though.

okay but the only reason im not running the 0 awg now is that i like the fact i can unhook one amp if i want to. also its cheaper.

but you you just say **** it up and buy th 0 awg the fused d-block and fuses?
