Orion 1200d @ .5 ohm possible?

Yes it is, just need enough electrical.

I've ran the Orion chrome series amplifiers to .5 ohm a couple times at comps, but the lowest I've gone daily was ~.9ohm.

My electrical as of right now is a dual alt setup with the stock 140 & a 275HO, 2 group 34 YT, 4 runs of 1/0 (2+/2-), & big 3 with 1/0. I would think that would be enough, but I want to ask first, lol. If not then I'll try to get something else. Cash is short so if this works it's hold me over.

I ran four Orion 1200d's, two strapped per Orion H2 12.22 (dual 2), 1 ohm final load per pair of amps so .5 ohm total each. I had a Kinetik 2400hc up front and two G31 YT's out back and had zero problems at all...

I think you will be fine.

p.s. hearing four clicks when the amps turned on in my crx right behind my ear made my peener tingle every time I started that sumbish //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

LOL ok this was looking like a go until one person said no, lol. Soooo........... My question is matrxx dude Have you personally ran this amp to this limit to know that it "can't" do it daily? I'm just asking because Ronny & CRXBMPN both have personal experience with this amp. I'm not trying to be difficult, but I would lean more towards the opinion of those that have done/used this amp in this manner. Thx for ALL the input guys.
