I am thinking about running an Orion 1200d amp with a 12" idmax d2 sub. I will be giving it 12v and was wondering about the amps output at this power. I was thinking it would be around 950. It is marked at 1200 with 13.8 I believe. Can someone clarify what this will do at a stock battey 12v?

when youre car is running it should still see ~14v. granted current draw might take it down some, but the only time your batt should read 12v is with the car off, or if you have big current draw problems. alt's charge around the 14v area, batts only store 12v .

Ive seen so many amps done this way over the years. Especially ones that had the Molex plugs and a couple others

Yes, they do. As for the Taramps remote control, it is for use with the EQ they sell, not as a remote bass knob. They are not very sophisticated...
