Is there an optimal proportion for a sealed box? Is a perfect square best? If a rectangle shape is better, what should the proportions be? Does it matter?

I tried searching and wasn't able to find anything. I apologize if i missed the info somewhere.

I'm trying to build a box for a Sundown E8

Sealed Box:

0.280 ft^3 w/ F3 of 50 Hz (Qtc = 0.707)

Sub Depth = 4.25"

Thanks in advance

Closest i could get considering the size and depth of the sub are

Internal Size:

5" x 11.5" x 8.5"

Depth = 4.25"

OD w/ gasket = 8.34"

Cut Out = 7"

Thanks for the help. Maybe i'll turn this thread into a little build log to make some use of it. lol
