optima question...

The Red top isn't a deep cycle like the Yellow and Blue. The only difference between the Yellow and Blue is the Blue gets dual terminals (auto and stud).

Red = Starting

Yellow = Accessory

Blue = Marine

You can use yellow's under the hood. I got a YT that also has the side GM terminals, put a screw adapter in the side gm terminals for my amp runs and big 3. VERY convenient.

ReDemon - is that chino from the tones!?

Yeah yellow top is only about 40 bucks more and it's deep cycle, which means that it should last through a lot of discharge and recharge, especially when drawing from the battery and not the alt (such as in a trunk/isolator situation or the car is off) spend the extra money to get the flexibility.

red = highly vibration resistant non deep cycle

yellow = highly vibration resistant deep cycle.

blue type number 1 = highly vibration resistant non deep cycle marine starting battery

blue type number 2 = highly vibration resistant deep cycle marine/rv battery.

all made with 99% pure lead
