i have a 2000 mustang gt with an afermarket head unit and two 8inch subs. should i get a yellow or red top? im going to be sitting in my car listening to it with engine off.

Why, even if you get an optima its not going to last with the radio on and the car off

Get a yellow top. They are deep cycle with a slow discharge rate, and will last much longer than a red top with the car off.

I have some delco electronics battery and have listened to my system (400WRMS) with the battery off for a while and no problem starting back up and my alternator is like 80 amps max...

I used to run a delco battery and listened to my stereo with the car off...then one day i wake up and its drained..so keep it up and sooner or later it will happen to you

I didnt say that I do it all the time I listened to my system for about 1 minute today I didnt drive it at all.

why would you need to sit in ur car with the engine off and listen to music...im just curious

when your with friends and your chillin somewhere I turn off the engine so I dont waste gas and leave the radio on...
