what if i just get like a kinetik 600 and just a normal battery up front i have two batterys right now but both ****!
kinetik still recommends the 1400 for 1200wrms even if you leave the stock style batterywhat if i just get like a kinetik 600 and just a normal battery up front i have two batterys right now but both ****!
yea i see that i may just have to get a normal starting battery for right now then get a 1400 or 1800 later to replace my second batter in the back?kinetik still recommends the 1400 for 1200wrms even if you leave the stock style battery
i would go ahead and get an optima for the front....then upgrade the rear lateryea i see that i may just have to get a normal starting battery for right now then get a 1400 or 1800 later to replace my second batter in the back?
some mounts attach over the top instead of on the bottom:fyi:I'd go with a Yellow top up front and a Kinetik in the rear, thats what I did. You could put a Kinetik up front, but keep in mind that the case wasn't designed to be put under the hood so there aren't and grooves built in into it for a battery hold down mount. You'd have to find a way to keep it from moving around. If you have the room I'd recommend skipping the Yellow top and the kinetik and get an Odyssey/Stinger battery up front. The Odyssey 1700 or 2150 will have more amps when needed than both the Yellow top and Kinetik comined, it's the battery of choice with dB Drags Street competitors.
pretty sure there is a shop near me that can get nearly any optima or kinetik1200 watt amp... you really shouldn't need anything more than a solid main battery.. Does anyone even know where to get a G31 from a local dealer??
I might be able to get a discount, but it wouldn't be much:crap:yea but probably not for any cheaper than ordering direct
Depending on the vehicle, some do have mounts that go over the top, so yeah, your correct.some mounts attach over the top instead of on the bottom:fyi:
and link to said battery that is better than all posted above, as the D31T is a pretty bad @$$ battery![]()
that's what I wanted to know...thanxDepending on the vehicle, some do have mounts that go over the top, so yeah, your correct.
The D31 might be a good battery, better than the group 34 anyway. But the amp rating of a D31 battery is 1125 amps, and 900 CCA. An Odyssey 1700 has a CCA rating of 825, and an amp rating of 1700 cranking amps for 5 seconds, 1540 cranking amps for 10 seconds, 1355 cranking amps for 20 seconds and a Short circuit current over 3500A. An Odyssey is a much more powerful battery and runs about the same if not less money than an Optima group 31 battery.
is that shipped? Got a link?and if you are going to get the 1400, the 1800 is the same price online, so you might as well go ahead and get the hc 1800 online
~$179
Ebay stores have that price, and thats without shipping. Those batteries are heavy, so you have to figure in a decent shipping amount.is that shipped? Got a link?
