Not a fan.
They skew a perfectly flat input to output more bass; a built in eq without any way to turn it off or change the setting.

Is that true even with the Power series?

I would say YES!

ETA: Now I know why Rockford Fosgate rated their frequency response curve @ +/- 3 dB. It was to account for their "mistake", i.e. the built-in loudness curve.

interesting..

most amps have about a 1db variation in response, but the curve sure dosen't look like that.. If they really do have built in eq, well that is BS! Seems odd to me that they would do something like that ?

I've been a fan of previous RF amps, especially thier class BD designs..

I have owned punch series and power series from past to future and I have never had 1 problem. I have probably owned over 10 different ones.

Rockford amps are champs...my uncle would bump his JL w3 with this little 2 channel bridged...it'll push it..the amp wasnt 500 rms but it worked it

Thanks, from reading this information you guys have high respect for the quality of Rockford Fosgate amps. I know they are pricey but you get what you pay for.

I've been using Rockford amps off and on for over 10 years and have had only one problem. (Bad RCA grounds). Not a bad track record.

i dont know about the newer stuff, but everyone knows there old amps were incredible I own/have owned a few, if you can find a decent deal i would definitely go for it

seems to me they pride themselves to much on the "Made in the U.S.A" factor. funny thing is "assembled in the USA" is what the amps should say. not to thread jack but, quick question, how many amps out there are AMERICAN MADE COMPONENTS and assembled in the usa??

Every amp even those that claim to be made in the USA uses parts from other places in the world.
