Opinons of Rockford Fosgate amps

Out of curiousity I would like to know people's opinons about the current Rockford Fosgate Power Series amps. What do you think about their quality and reliability?

there is better amps for less money ... i never been a fan but there is people out there that love there stuff. i think there subs stink

TO each his own but I swear by my T1000.1 and T215" not to much current pull on the car never gets hot even at 1ohm in the summer never went into protect nothing but good times

i just got to check out a few on an install, really small the 500.1 is like the size of a 150 watt amp, and they seem super solid and sound good, i think there solid if you want to pay for them

just buy on line no RF warranty but you save 2/3 on the cost so even trade and what ever place I,ve bought from so far had a better warranty than RF factory anyway and usually the option to extend the warranty for like 2yrs for like 30.00 bucks more

Yeah buying from a factory authorized store is the best way of spending extra money. Chances are the RF amp will always outlast the warranty anyway. So pretty much if you are expecting to use the warranty, then you are just throwing money away.

my t5002 broke after only about 4 months of normal use... i would get the extended warranty...

thats how I see it I paid 450 for my T2 shipped and 380 or so for the amp shipped of course and have had no problems and the factory warranty is close to up now if it did have it

what other subs and amps do you have experience with that you are using as a basis to make this conclusion

the power series amps are good but way better for way cheaper can be had

The only thing I don't like about my 25 to Life Power 1000 is its huge *** size. Other than size, it is a great 1 amp solution unless you are the typical ca.com basshead, then you need mo powa @ 1 ohm than the class D channel can give you.

Other RF models I have used are the: Power 351s, P5002, and I am currently using a 25 to Life Punch 150 on a dd1010.

Not a fan.

They skew a perfectly flat input to output more bass; a built in eq without any way to turn it off or change the setting.
