Opinions on what to do with this 13w7

Alright, I bought this w7 off a forum member for a good deal and was wondering what YOU would do with it. I can't really make up my mind. I was thinking either put some silicone over the crack/puncture, replace dustcap, keep as is (not sure how this would affect sound since outer dustcap of the w7 is basically cosmetic... All of my friends bought W7's when they came out. All of them had the cone rip multiple times and it wasn't from anything hitting it. I think it was quite pricey to fix it too. This is why I don't like W7's

id hold on to it, i think you have something rare there. i cant believe they forgot to tap screws into it, or for that matter they forgot to put on a mounting flange. id keep it.

or in the off chance that it s not rare, id sell it and buy something else.

I'd hook it up as it is and just see how it performs.

I, personally, could care less about cosmetics. Performance is what I go after.

Pretty cool, I figured that with the excursion the W7 is capable of the surround would have had to been glued down, I guess I was wrong, lol.

Just install it. You could always quickly invert it.

This is true, the only hesitation I would have about inverting the w7 is that the only way to take it out is to break open the box due to the surround covering the screws. I really don't want to have to go through that if I ever feel like switching boxes.
