MP3s on USB stick playing a bit of this and a bit of that

I just bought my Clarion head unit from JBs, installed and I love it. One problem I've noticed is that when playing MP3s from the attached USB stick (it's a Clarion-supplied stick which came with the unit), some songs tend to "branch out" into parts of other songs for a second or two then returns back to the original song.

It's sorta like a mix gone bad. The MP3s sound fine on a PC. Has anyone seen this before?

PS. MP3s are from the net, not self-compiled.

the memory stick almost compeltley filled? ive noticed that with dvd's, cd's, and other forms of storage, if it's almost to full capacity then minor errors can occur and things mightb leed over onto other things. try removing some stuff so that the card is only 90% full, if it still persists try 80% full.......if it still persists try to get a new card....

I'm guessing that the songs are not 100% downloaded. I've had a similar problem in the past on my computer.
