There's a SVT focus sitting around town for like 14k, Dunno if there's something wrong with it or what

Yeah uh dont get a Focus unless you're a woman. That's almost as bad as a Beetle.

If you love your stang, why not get a v6 Mustang?

I don't know if you want a BRAND NEW car, but these can get pretty fast. As far as gas milage, Idk about some of them but they are basically all ricers so they should be okay?

Your Mustang is puffing black smoke???? 3 yrs old, hmmm..... blue smoke or black smoke? black smoke is just running rich, blue smoke is bad news. Fix your car (its practically new), save your money and put an ATI Procharger on that 4.6. And dude, the sound that 4.6 will make with flowmasters and x-pipe, notwithstanding the whistle from the procharger. why would you want anything else????

Forget about your audio system, you will never turn it up, that car will sound SWEET. And it gets around 25 mpg. you're talking highway miles to school, right? Your not going to do much better with a 4.turbo.

Seriously considering one myself.

I've been trying to get my fiance to purchase a WRX, that would be my second choice, for a lowcost "no maintenace", "safe driver". I could really look into hot-rodding one of the new gen turboed. You know, for my GIRLFRIEND and such. For me, I want a little rumble under my butt.

Of course, this is all just IMO!

I'm gonna have to drop some money, my rear end is catching here lately, like it pops in real hard. I'm not someone who knows an assload on cars but it cant be too good lol

All I know is a friend of mine called and said I huffed black smoke, and I know it's good for Diesels and bad for gas lol

I do love the stang sound though lol

I'll play it by ear and see whats going on in a month or two

just replace the rear end if its giving you fits... i would personally stay with what you have for many reasons, most obvious... its already yours, hopefully the gas situation doesn't break the bank... hope you like college

I'm going to get the engine and rear end checked out, and the transmission serviced, stick with it for a little while and get settled down in college

If all goes well I'll try stepping to an STI or an Evo

If you only have 17k you won't find an STi for that cheapest i've seen one for is around 24k. I'm still debating an 07' STi limited though if my dealer can get me one.

If it were my choice on one, I'd have a black one with the white and black leather seats inside, just sets it off IMO

the only complaint i've been told of thus far is that the shifter is a little notchy and isn't as smooth as some like it. that'll go within 3 weeks of me getting it if i don't like how she shifts. i'll post up when i get it though and let ya know what i think.

Well something came up

2005 Lancer Evo VIII, black on black, beautiful car, manual with 12k on it, they only want 24,999 at the dealer

I can get it for my car and 10 g's walk out, I'll probably do it and get payments around 200/month

Excuse me, their asking price is 26,999 he told me the wrong number, but he keeps emphasizing that it's their "asking" price not their final

Even then it's 5gs less than KBB says it should be lol
