what do you think. Is it a good hu. i can get it new for $195. if you think its no good b/c i dont have hd radio or an ipod. what other h/u is good on best buys site.

I would go with this pioneer over the alpine.

I was looking at that one too. I only picked the other one b/c it had cooler back ground and it red. My favorite color!

That Alpine for under $200 is is just fine. Nice deck...glad to see they brought back the 4 volt pre-outs versus 2 volts from last years models.

The reason I would go with the pioneer is for the crossover, eq and usb for future use. Other then that the Alpine would work just fine. I also wish Pioneer did something else with their displays.

yeah what turned me off from the pioneer was that big knob and the lack of cool display
