nakamichi cd400 vs pioneer deh-p4650mp??

i've been using the nak for the past 4 years and have been extremely happy with it. problem is i had recently sent off my car for a facelift and the "car stylist " suggested that i change the head unit to a pioneer p4650 for better asthetic reasons. he claims that the sound quality is equal if not better. i'm not convinced...but perhaps anyone here can comment on this? any experiance? please help!

Haven't heard both. But from what i've read, Pioneer doesn't even come close to Nak in terms of SQ.
