Hello Guys,

I have a friend that has a new 2014 toyota tacoma double cab 2wd and wants me to puts some //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/awesome.gif.4430a219d9aaaa6cadc75e9290979dfb.gif goodies(bass, mids, etc) to his new truck.

Inside a decent budget(I could say less than $1,500 in parts), He wants the loudest and cleanest setup possible for his space.(I believe he wants to keep the stock radio).

PS: if the top of the rear seat is needed for the bass box, Maximum space that can be used is less than half of the rear seat.

-What are your recommendations?

Thank you.

lol sorry, but what does "inside a decent budget" mean? How much? Will you be paying someone to install or doing yourself?
I will be installing it for him.

I can say he'll like to spend less than 1,500.

Is he going to keep his stock electrical system? Do you know how much current his alternator puts out? I'm also not familiar with how much room that car has for subs - are we talking 1 10", 2 10"s, 2 12"s?

4 soundqubed pro audio mids and a pair of SQ super tweets in front, all ran through a JL cleansweep and a 4 channel amp. Get a sundown SD 12 d2 in a downfiring ported box and 1k rms on it. The rest for install wiring and accessories, big 3, enclsoure material and sound deadener. Should sound loud and clean but not gonna be throat choking bass anytime soon unless his budget grows to pay for the electrical upgrades, however his mids and highs will be extremely up to par for when that happens.

How much of his backseat is he trying to keep? I have 2 SA-12's running off a cheap Rockford Prime 1200 Watt amp and it does lovely inside of my Access Cab Tundra. A true double cab should have room for 2 15's if I'm not mistaken.

If the top part of the rear seat is really needed for the bass, He only wants to use less than half of the rear seats space.
