oops!

Vehicles are built so cheap these days, everything falls apart/off even with just daily driving..Double sided sticky gets loose over time with the heat, and cold off the temps/sun,ect that may have fallen eventually anyways from reg road vibrations. Not impressed:eyebrow:

I am lucky. My review mirror is held into the roof. And when I removed it last year to take down the head liner. I had to use my whole body to get it down.

I agree with you. Too many people show off the review mirror falling. Or the front windshield/roof or other car parts flexing. To me. It just shows a weak built car. No proper bracing.

Exactly. The FJ is a perfect example. We knew it flexed the roof (not much else oddly enough) but when it ripped it apart we were not surprised at all actually. The roof is simply that weak.

Well it was the last day for the vvme in my hands so I gave it one last run and I guess it didnt like the idea of me getting rid of it because this happened lol
Clean that area well with a razor blade and alcohol and use a dab of Gorillia Glue, let set over night, See if she falls with a pair of 18s on 4k?

I had a 93 s10 with 2 l7 12s and my old a2300hct audiobaun amp. i was bumping like any other day and the mirror came down and swung on the power wires and hit me right in the mouth. needless to say i ripped that bish off in a hurry. it wouldnt of been so bad if a hot chick didnt see the whole thing while laughing her *** off in the car next to mine. not the first and surely not the last time i has a mirror come down on me

What is the FJ?

Yeah. My roof/windshield didn't flex on my 2 12s on 1500watts. But I have seen some of the bass videos. And there cars look like there going to fall apart on the same decibels.

i just hooked up a orian hcca 15.2 on a temp jl 1000.1 in a 06 acura tl and you can tell cars are made cheap. dudes car flexes at least An inch in every direction. i wasn't impressed, was more annoyed than anything. all you could hear was metal vibrating. its crazy you can spend 15 grand on a car that appears to act more like cardboard.on a windy day than a smooth ride. my subaru doesnt flex except for windsheild and hatch area and evem thats a minimun now with 40 feet of deadner all over.

It's nice to know that not everyone is impressed by a flexing like crazy on low power-moderate power.

I've noticed that the Pontiac G6 seems to be an easy car to flex the front windshield/roof area.

i swear its many of the newer smaller cars. the huge new suvs that have the big rear viee mirrors with onstar (dont know how to explain lol) don't flex that much on higher power they just get loud.the worst part is almost everyone i know goes crazy or panel flexing, i don't understand whats impressive about not being able to bump with your windows down cause all you can hear is metal.

HAHA I KNOW. All the bass videos is showing off how much noise the car makes and flexes. I mean. Of course you can only prevent it to a certain degree. And obviously some cars are built to be as light as possible and don't need proper bracing. But to show it off in a video...isn't exactly cool.
