SEXYTIME!! NIIICE!
Well the other day I decided to invest $25 in a new pair of Rockford Fanatic-Q Midrange speakers for my front doors. Before yesterday I had been running my factory component speakers (I think they are delco) up front. They have decent highs from the tweeter but the midrange absolutely sucked! I went in and lined as much of the doors as I could with dynamat, and fashioned some new speaker mounts out of some MDF I had laying around, and moved the tweeters up near the a-pillar so they are at about shoulder level if you are sitting up straight. As soon as I put in a CD I was amazed at how much the SQ had improved and what better soundstage placement there is now. Id say that my $25 investment was worth it 'cause now male voices actually sound male. Can't wait to get some new tweeters and all that other component jazz...
