onyx 2000 vs Ap1800

Hey guys, im on a 280 dollar budget and I've been looking around for an amp that would do a little better performance than my audiopipe 1800. I came across the mb quart onyx 2000 and been concidering it. Anyone recommend this amp or any others in that dollar range.

trust me this amp is a beast. theres a thread on caco with this going side by side with a Sundown saz-2000... i had one and it was the best amp i had owned at that point. i had a sundown saz-2000 before i got this amp and honestly it out performed my sundown...

Db drive looks nice, i am appreciating all the help guys. I am reading everything you all post and its helping out! Any more amps that are better than the ap around 1800rms and 280 dollars

trust me the db drive will get the job done and some, its a power house 2k amp...... and curious, were is vine grove ky???

Soundstream dtrs maybe ? And im mainly upgrading so its a little better on electrical. More efficient at making power. And vine grove is just about an hout from louisville

Has anybody benched one of the newer Alphasonks?..I was wondering if they are still as good or better than the older HC's...power hungry and finicky, but clean and make the juice.

I can vouch for the mb quart onx 2000.1.. Originally I got this amp temporarily, however, I may just keep it, and use it for a backup. Ive been running 2 sa 15s with it for now, and it does a nice job. Stays cool, and pushes the sa's nicely. Definately a strong amp for the price. For the price brand new, it will be difficult to beat.

Alphasonic always was low end. They have not improved.

Out of the OPs choice, I would choose the MB quart amps (Although they are fairly close)

at 339$ the Cresendo bc2k is a great choice. Rated 2180w at 13.8v, but a little out of your budget
