i posted about this before so this is kinda a update. i finally got my treo csx 12.22's in. went to a show this past weekend and pulled off a 149.6 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif . as of right now i have the subs in 5.0 cf after port displacement and before sub dis. and my port is 14 by 5 and tuned to 42 hz. ive been thinking about building another box, but for spl should i go smaller or bigger? i was thinking around 6 cubes for both tuned to 42hz or should i seperate them and put each in 3 cf ? if anybody has any input please feel free to post your comments or anything. any help is greatly appreciated. thanx in advance.

if you really wanna get louder you have to find the resonant frequency of your vehicle, then tune your box accordingly so that it peaks at that frequency.

There's soooo much more to getting louder than that.Simple things that can get you louder even in just a daily driver/street beater.

But I'm not going to give anyone any information //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif If you're serious about competing it you'll figure it out yourself.

bracing your car with concrete? lol gots no clue

If your competeing sometimes it helps, and sometimes it hurts. I have seen it go both ways //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
It should always help, in PURE SPL. It raises the RF of your vehicle, and it's easier to get louder at a higher frequency.

BUT, vehicles do crazy things...

What amps/power do you have?
