Sorry to basically repeat my last post, but the thread turned into a bunch of people yelling at some guy for suggesting I go with pyle subwoofers for a good mix of SQL and SPL.

Anyway, I started off looking at (all 12"s) 2 CXRs, 1 W6v2, 1 RE SX, or possible 2 RE SE's.

This would be for a honda civic lx sedan, running off an old kicker 1200.1 rated at 1450RMS (if I can get that from this little honda alternator).

Long time Brahma owner (RIP Adire) so I don't want to sacrifice all my SQL.

Kinda leaning toward the RE's either 1 SX or 2 SE's. Suggestions of what I will lose/gain if I choose either option? Will be in a ported box with as much space as I can give it.

I would go with 2 SE's, more of a SQ woofer than the SX, and will have more ocne area.

IMO the best choice out of what you have listed as well.

May even want to check out a SI Mag if your open to other options

You could also look at the new FL series from IA. Knowing Nick this things will sound great and Get LOUD

CSS SDX15.

Its a Brahma motor, but a better over all sub. For alot less money than Adire ever charged for a Brahma.

Hah, great.... So now it's down to the RE options, the Tempest, the CSS SDX15, or the FI Mag...

I thought I was going to be narrowing things down, but now I got new options.

Concerns: Tempest is DVC 8ohm which if I only grab a single sub drops me to 4ohms, best specs I can find for the Kicker1200.1 puts out 300W at 4 ohms. Not sure I have enough power to properly move that sub.

So far had trouble finding a source for new Mag's. Their site just says coming soon, dealers out there give me a price range?

SDX15 is starting to push outside my price range, especially with shipping to Hawaii.
