if you were to build an entire system and stick with one manufacturer for all of the pieces--which manufacturer would it be? i was thinking of going with MB Quart, except for my Alpine H/U, using comps, amps, and subs. Any body have any experience with Quart subs?

just wanted to do something a bit different....not looking for bone-crunching bass in my next set-up. i have currently have Quart tweets and they are some of the best sounding ones i've ever used. my buddy has a set of higher end quart comps and they sound sweet. just wondering how the rest of their equipment is......btw nobody around here sells or runs them thats why i started inquiring about them,. also...looking at the amps and subs--i think the simplicity of the amps is very appealing and the sexy flat cones on some of the subs is hawt as well

JL... They make nice wiring asscessories too! They don;t do alts or batteries though.

PG comps don't impress me. Neither do their subwoofers. I would take Type X speakers for both the substage and front stage over a PG setup any day...no question.

jack....you of all ppl in here should be able to relate to me wanting to stray from the norm. i think i'm just gonna go with a very subtle set-up maybe a pair of 10"s in small sealed enclosure with maybe 300 watts going to them and a good set of comps with like 50-75 watts going to them

MBQ shouldn't be too bad, but remember to EQ the tweets //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Without any processing, MBQ tweeters are very harsh, but can be attenuated...they need to be.
