i am not new to car audio but new to this site yes and new to forums i have been an installer for 10 years and have been messin with home audio and car audio for years i was around when roy allison was with allison ascoustics and when magnepan first came out i own a pioneer 1980 reciever that repaced my marantz 2275 and i recently picked up a pair of ads 1290s at a pawn shop for 200 dollars for the pair ha ha so new to audio no i would be surprised if any of you were familar with any of those model numbers but i could be wrong i am new to the forums yes but audio no no i have killed many relationships cuz of my hobby(electronics) girls will never understand. but as far as pyle goes hey to each is own they are not the best out there but they can get loud lol

Welcome to the world of internet forums....just saying, 80% juvenile BS, bashing, and nut hugging. I'd suggest DIYmobileaudio.com as a place that's a little more forgiving on ppl using cheap gear, but they have their fair share of elitist and "my e-pinis is bigger than yours" stuff going on.

I've scored a ton of great gear in the classified section here and there are actually some very knowledgeable members and some really good info does come out of here.

Maybe the real problem here is you take it as a personal attack when someone discredits a brand or product you like.

Any mediocre sub can get fairly loud in the right setup. That is hardly the tell tale sign of a quality speaker. Let us know when Pyle starts building a sub that can compete with a DD9500 or BTL for SPL, or an IDQ or xcon for SQ. Until then, you are just defneding a medicore product from a company with a long history of building junk.

Went through this forum first because I heard pyle was a cheaper sub..usually for beating up on..although not a bad product for SPL. Then I notcied all these comments to a bobby3342 basically, from what I am getting bashing him back and forth. I personally dont think he is taking things as a personal attack..I think he is just plainly stating that he is defending people and whatever product they choose to use. I didnt see him say that he HAS or RUNS that product...or even likes the product for that matter. He is defending the initial poster. You are saying to tell me when Pyle can compete with yada yada. You are comparing a $500 sub to a $40 sub. How is that going to work? It is not. If you can put up a 150 for a hundrend bucks or $600, I'd choose the cheaper. Just because I could beat on it a little without it costing an arm and a leg. Sub competitions are for SPL which is 'balls to the wall with no reguards to clipping', abusing the hell out of your subs. RIGHT? So what does it matter what sub is used....to a point. Oh and this person is right..we are on aPYLE thread :0) I've seen people throw up 150 with walmart geer and with the more expensive set ups. The spl comps are not kind to our speakers. Face it.

Well I guess I have more drama here than I have with my 4 daughters lolol :0) Keep it coming..I wont be offended.

Bobby, just a tip, but if you're tying to seem like you know what you're talking about, stop defending junk brands that have a history of literally no quality products. What's wrong with saying "that's junk, go in this direction"? You're defending a product from arguably the most well-known of the horrible car audio companies...all the guy has to do is spend 25% more and get someone that will last and not sound like a wet fart.

im in no way defending pyle, pyle is what it is (a budget brand) at best they are cheap and can put up good numbers but as far as lasting a lifetime prolly not gonna happen . i guess there are all types of people and some are bluntly honest( like yo seem to be) and some sugar coat and try not to offend people i would rather say pyle is undesirable they will get loud and put up good spl numbers, but the suspension will fail in the corners due to poor design,cheap labor and they dont use the best glues/soft parts or materials. oh and i believe it is all in the way you say things. audio is mostly a preferance thing different people like different things and i will not make fun of someone for their opinions. Hey some people think bose make great speakers. i personally think they lack midrange and low end. "to each is own" oh and as far as Slappin azz You must be fixin to go down Askin a mom to show you her ***** pics of her daughters. come on man doesnt her screen name tell ya she is a female. use better judgement next time Slappin azz. your giving the forum a bad name.

No, he's defending people who chose to run Pyle. He's definitely not defending people whose opinion is to steer clear of that brand name and chose another one. And he's doing it using assumptions and his own personal attacks. That's fine, a lot of people here do it. But dont cry foul because they 'attack', and then turn around and attack them back.

All the products from sound around get loud, very efficient. The difference is they dont hold up like the higher quality brands on rated power.
