Ok heres the deal I got my Q blew a few weeks ago so I got it reconed. Today I got to put it in my brand new box to here how it sounds but I notice my magnet is cracked. I think nothing of it and put it in, start to turn the music up and all of a sudden it just sounds like its bottoming out. Take it out the box and see the coil has rubbed, look at the magnet and its all out of wack

what the hell do I do?

I'd contact AQ. I don't think it would be your fault if the actual magnet cracked. I think they should give you a new one/ put a new motor on yours. If you managed to crack the magnet, I'd give you an award. And not the good kind.....

Why would he contact AQ? If anything he should contact FI //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

EDIT: ****, beat me to it

well doubt I do it because I didn't drop it or anything but I had a local Speaker shop do the recone so the could have dropped it but i dont know if it was like that before I gave it to them

well I went back to the shop and they said they didn't drop it and I believe them because i'm sure it would have had to fall pretty hard to do that and there isn't one impact mark

Shoot Fi an email or post on their forum. They are really slow at getting back to people, but I haven't heard of them leaving a customer unsatisfied after contact starts.
