OMG! A Soundstream XXX-10000D!

BUT hey im sure it still puts out alot more power than most can use. so not downing the amp. just the amp name/rating. even though there is nothing on the ratings that say 10k as was posted.

These amps will handle impedances below 1ohm and will do around 9000 watts at the proper impedance and voltage.

I dont see how you'll get 9k rms....none of the power ratings are even close to that even at 16v. Might as well just a DD Z2 for a nice 6000x1 @ 1 ohm @ 14.4V

Try more Battery power. Never said they were efficient amps although so far the 10kw's seem to be a lil more efficient than the 6500 but not much more power out of them.

Hmm, I forget what kind of battery power he has in there. I know it's not anything weak though. (bank of kinetiks IIRC)

I have two of these I purchased from a close friend. These put out 10k at 1 ohm at 15 volts. We metered it to make sure. Due to new rules and laws in labeling of amps, amps now need to have accurate power ratings start 2006. No more just stating peak power and get people all excited.

actually i spoke to this friend,because i was gonna buy them before you did,and if i remember right,he told me he had them benched and the most he got out of it was 8900(give or take a few)@ 17+ volts and i think .7 ohm.no way can you get 10K at 14-15 volt outta that amp,sorry you were misinformed.also you gotta drop more than .6 volts,,my 1500 watt amp makes me drop more than that,and i have a 180 amp alt on my truck.but hey,its still a great amp

the z1 is the best street amp out their period......

strappable and super efficient and strong!

just expensive and no competitor discounts and hard as hell to get

oh yah i can see this amp costing anywhere from 700-900 a piece competitor price.

i know the 6500 is 550..

but renember not just anyone can get those prices. and theirs contracts and bs associated with them most of hte time.
