Im thinking about buying an older rockford fosgate 225.2. Ive heard that they do 600+ rms bridged to 4 ohms on a stock electrical system. Is this true? It also has an "x-card" crossover anybody know how they work and if they work well? Just wanna learn more about them and I haven't been able to find very much information on them on google or anything so ya. Hope somebody can share their knowledge.

Thanks!

The X-card is a a small circuit board mounted inside the bottom cover. Simple remove the "rubber insert" and pull it out. It will be marked with the cross-over point printed on the card. For full range insert it one way and for the cross-over point insert it the other way. It should be clearly marked on the board that you remove. As for under rated yes, old Rockford is still the shit...IMO.

well in rockford's manual for them that I found on their website it said 690 rms at either 14.4 or 13.8V im not really sure. Do you think 90 is to much for one of this with a bunch of raptor wire, terminals and distro blocks. Don't really have a use for the wire. but i guess i could use the 0 gauge is more like 4 guage to do the big 3 even though I dont' think ill need it but i could do it anyways. What do you guys think? Thanks for the replies!
