Got everything hooked up today....BUTTTT

Well ok today I got everything hooked up for my Power Acoustik A2100DB. It works fine when the truck is not running but when I start the truck the amp goes into protect mode. Is there anything inparticular that could be causing this???

It is pushing two 4 ohm Kicker Comp VR 12's that are wired to 1 ohm.

i think they are only 2 ohm stable.

No. Thats the first thing im gonna check in the morning but I didnt know if there was anything else that could be causing it. Thanks for the replies.

most likely your grounds if amp is 1 ohm stable,,,

Now this morning I went out and turned it on ACC. and it blew the fuse that is inline with the main power wire. Does this mean that there is a short in the amp??

I went and bought more fuses and as soon as I put the new one in it instantly blew it. Could there be something internally wrong with the amp causing this??

you have the fuse at battery AND at amp too?

There arent any fuses in the amp.
