Hey all, im a newbie when it comes to figuring out problems with amps but thought if anyone can help it would be here. I have an older (probably about 10 years most likely) kicker amp I believe in the range of 6000-7000 watt 4 channel that I have had put away for a while as it stopped working.

I have opened it up to see if anything was burned to maybe signify a short but as far as I could tell it all looks fine. Last time I had it wired up the power light would come on then it would immediately go into protection mode. I cant find any information or even a picture of this amp anywhere online and I cant get to my cabin where it is until the spring to get pictures unfortunately.

I had asked a friend of my dads who does car installs for the local future shop store and he said if something is gone the chances of getting parts would be slim to none but im not willing to let this thing go until ive exhausted all options.

I would appreciate any suggestions...

a model number of any type would help out. You may look up amp repair on google if its as strong power wise as you listed it may be worth the money to repair it the one sho i used does a rough quote prior to sending then its like 50 bucks to give full estimate after they diagnose before proceding.

The closest im able to find to this specific amp is the zx2500.1 but that's monoblock where mine is 4 channel and much smaller than mine. my amp is about 3 feet long and roughly 15+ inches wide and either 6000-7000 watt peak power. As I said unfortunately its at my cabin which is under about 3 feet of snow at the moment so I cant get to it until spring

Is this a blue or blue/white wire from the Kenwood? The ACC wire is red and although that should turn on the amp, it is not the prefered wiring...
