I need some help troubleshooting an issue I'm having...
I've got an Alpine CDA-7893 head unit. I've got a Rockford Fosgate Power 250 2-channel amp hooked up to it. Its been working fine for YEARS (say 5 or so). But yesterday, when I turned it on (I guess I wasn't paying attention), I accidentally turned the volume on ALL the way up... It kinda took me by surprise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif , so I was fumbling for a few seconds to try to turn the volume down.... But before I was able to do so, the unit just shuts off. No clock, no display, nothing... I've checked the clock/radio fuse in the car (put a new fuse in as well), but the unit is still "dead". Tried again this morning and still nothing.
Any suggestions as to what the problem is or what else I can check? Did I perhaps blow it up? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
Thanks!
