Older Audison SRX4 help

I had my entire system professionally installed (3yrs ago) but have come to learn my system is not functioning properly. Since I had words with the installer, I cannot go back to them for help.

The car is a 2001 Boxster S.

Audison SRX4 (not the new one)

Nakamichi cd-400 head unit

Focal 100kp front

Focal 130kp doors

The issue is the sound is not very loud at level 30 and someone my head-up and the stock porsche AMP and speakers says at level 30...it's very loud. Based on my research, I am going to try and tune the amp. However, I am clueless with removing panels and such.

Does anyone know how to remove the front plate? My understanding is there are controls behind this panel but I can't get to them. I have the gain set to max and the AMP is ON for the head-unit. There is also a whining issue but I believe this can be solved by lowering the gain once the other controls are set to max.

Ive had a couple of srx4's, it only does 70x4, dunno what you consider loud but they may not be getting enough power to suit your needs, you could bridge the front components and send them 150x2 and hook the rears off a headunit or buy a second amp.

Do you know how to remove the front plate of the AMP?

I have the new model but if its similar design i believe it pops right up.

100kp is a 50w comp set with a 4" driver.

I just spoke with a pro and he stated maybe some of the lines may be crossed. In other words, the + is where the - should be. Does this make sense?
