Have a local guy selling one that is in mint condition w/end caps and everything, what's do you guys think is a fair price? May try to get it, depending on how negotiable he is. He's asking $160, but says to make an offer, what do you guys think?

I personally think that's high unless he has the box, birth sheet, etc. It really depends on how much it's worth to you, but I wouldn't see it getting more than $100 if you resold it.

Really doesn't matter if I get it or not, just ran the 40ix and 100ix back in the day and they were awesome amps so I came across this one that's in excellent condition and thought I would get it just because. But I was going to offer $85 (already offered), definitely not more than $100. I figured he would be mad/insulted since it was about half his asking price, which maybe why he hasn't responded back yet!

Yeah thats what I will stick with since I'm not in dying need of it! There's one on Ebay right now w/o the end caps and looks in okay shape for the age, but it's got about a hour left in the auction and it's at $56 (including shipping) so I will watch it and see what it ends at. Thanks
