Old School Pioneer I Found in my Garage

Nothing really all that special. Nice stereo though. Been a while since I last seen one. Not as old you might think though haha....or is it that I'm to old //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

it probably isnt that old. it was my dads second cd player in a 96 suburban. He said it was pretty good for what he used it for, but he's never really cared about imaging and what not just clarity and tonality with nice lows.

Was just wondering if it had any features that could be useful to me..guess not lol

The 835R was released in the late 90's and was a good deck at the time - still is if you don't care about iPod integration and such(like myself). It's a slightly gimped version of the Premier DEX-P98R, which was only bested in the Pioneer/Premier lineup by the DEX-P1R. The DSP capabilities could be expanded with the use of the DEQ-P800 unit. I had one back when it came out, bought another one a few weeks ago for one of my trucks on eBay for $26, which was a fantastic deal.
