I just found a "brand new looking" Linear Power 2202 IQ amp that I bought back in Aug of 1993 (paid $500 new) that had been stored for years after taking it out of my 1st car, but forgot the specs and little info is on the net due to the original company going out of business.....

-watts rms per channel?

-bridgeable? If so, down to what ohms?

-what would be a good asking price/(NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH ANYWHERE)?

interested in selling it? A guy that works for us now, used to work for Linear Power in the day, and collects //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm going to post it in the forsale section at $160 shipped...LOOKS BRAND NEW, not one single scratch. Even the wires are full length and in perfect condition, no screw marks from mounting.

In the post, what does that guy mean when he says its a "LP" type of amp?
Just that it's a Linear Power, which are notoriously great, great amplifiers.

Also, I just bought a Directed 1100D amp...which one should I keep (Linear 2202 or 1100D) for 1 12" sub DVC dual 4ohm??
Well, the Directed 1100 would have more power and flexibility, aswell as greater efficiency.

The LP is a great old school amp, however. If the flexibility and efficiency aren't important, I'd keep the LP. If they are important, sell 'er off.

What happened to it?

What happened to it?
I took it out of my 1st car back in the early mid '90s after I bought a new car and left it stored at my parent's house for the last 10 years, among some other old school Pheinox Gold stuff. I planned to post it forsale, but Polecat wants to buy it. It truely looks just like the day that I bought it when it was new....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif .
