old school kenwood DB sub

Any one have any information on these subs. My step dad called me telling me he found one in the basement and i could have it. all he knows is it was in his old iroc and it was loud. I cant find the model number because he says the sticker is scratched off. but i do know its a 12.

are these nice subs. well its free so its nice but i mean is it worth my wile?

and how much power am i looking at giving this?

im assuming its a older sub becasue he had that car like 3 years ago.
