old school HCCA 225 + audiocontrol question!

This quite possibly may be a noob question, but I searched and can't find it.. my 225 needs to be bridged, so I bought an old audiocontrol 2xs. Does the audiocontrol go before the amp, in between my headunit and amp-- outputs of Inverted and Normal going to the left and right of the amp (respectively)? If this is the case, which of the 4 cables just hanging cut off out of the end of my amp do I extend and run to my sub? If the crossover goes after my amp, how do I convert regular cable into RCA? Again, sorry for possible noob question, but no luck finding info for this particular question. Thanks!

ah I've read many places that an "older" audiocontrol 2xs will do the same thing. It's actually got outputs that say bridging "normal" and "inverted". I guess the info could be wrong but I've read it many many places from reputable people. Also sorry about the post, didn't mean to mess with your thread.
