I really appreciate the advice. I was lucky enough to have purchased a professionally recapped Phoenix Gold MQ-430 earlier this week. I plan on using it for my mids and highs. I still need to purchase a amp for the subs. I will most likely buy a Phoenix Gold MS-2125. I still haven't decided what subs to buy. I really like the sound quality of JL Audio. I have owned them in the past and I was very satisfied with the sound.

Not sure what your budget is for your sub stage. Though, this particular brand of sub woofer is one of the most popular and one of the favorites within the SQ audio group.

I will take a look at that brand. I am unfamiliar with it. I am most likely going to use four 8” subs in a box like this one. I was considering JL 8W3. I have always liked the sound quality of JL compared to other brands I have owned.

JL has always made really nice quality products. I had my eye on these for quite a while.. But Im not real sure about running 8s any longer for myself. Being a real Basshead, The smallest sub Id run would prob be a 10" these days. Thats me though.
