old school chevy fans help!

i got a 72 chevelle and it has drum brakes all the way around it. i know most parts on chevys are interchangeable so could i take the spindles and all off a box chevy and use on my car? basically im trying to get disc brakes on the front of my car without spending a arm and a leg

hmm, not sure on that, pretty sure both are 'big bodies'. I would look around or ask on layitlow.com, im sure there are other forums, just never ventured to those, too redneck for me
