Old School Cerwin Vega

Hey guys,

So a friend of mine sold me an old school Vega for like $30, I just couldn't pass it up! It's a bit used, it really needs a recone, but the sound quality was still great! The magnet was perfect, no scratches underneath it or anything. I don't think the sub has been taken out of the prefab box it was in since he got it. How much is something like this worth, with this condition?

Now, my second question.. So it was in my car for about a week, bumpin' away. And my mother's boyfriend decided to **** with the amp gains and that resulted in the 'highs' blowing.. The lows still sound great, but anything like a single thump, or anything high it just sounds complete ****. How much would something like this be to fix? Or is it even worth it..

You can get a new sub in less than a week if you pick a good seller.

Would be a longer turn around to get the old sub fixed.

Appreciate it man. Is the sub worth anything at all? If anyone on here was interested in it for parts or something. I'm not sure if it can even be used.. Pisses me off. Beautiful sub..
