Is the sub a single 4 ohm coil? I've got a memphis 16-ST1000D I could trade . Its the oldschool chrome one. Its in alright shape. Has some scratches but still shines really good. The power light is missing and has been since I got it but I assure you it turns on and off just fine and functions flawlessly. 1100 rms x 1 at 1 ohm. Also have a really nice shape oldschool mtx thunder 2300 amp. Pretty decent class ab power.

Not looking to add anything. If neither of those amps do it on their own I'd probably just pass. I've seen cleaner strokers for cheaper.

For the record, if you don't think this sub is "pretty" enough, there is a Stroker recone service.

If I'm not mistaken, they use a fatter rubber surround and aluminum coil...

Recone kits are available on ebay as well. 12", 15" and 18" kits can be had. They start at $99.

So, condition shouldn't be an issue here. This particular woofer can be made to look brand new and when it's all said and done you'll have $300 invested. That's a good price for a 100% functional, good looking old school CV Stroker.

It's rated at 1000 wrms, but can take quite a bit more! I'm pretty sure it can take 1500 easy all day.
