I just found this amp hiding in a box of my crap that I hadnt looked in for years and years. cool little guy of an amp - its soo small

but

its missing a plug in crossover card from the bottom of the amp.

is it ok to run the amp with no crossover card ?

will post pix up when ma battery charges for camera

specs of the amp are-

120w rms mono bridged @4ohm

60w rms @2ohms stereo

30w rms @4ohms stereo lol

The amp should not operate without the card. I remember when they released those amps and everyone was bagging on them. It was an amp made for the series one speakers, that is for certain. They couldn't take a lot of abuse, and those amps wouldn't give it.

I have an old set of rockford (2600x series1 amp, 2 10" woofers, and faceplate radio) all which seem to go together.

Mine has the crossover chip and i got it from my cousin when we repo-ed her car. She said they dont work, i check them out and the fuse was blown so i dont know if they will work or not but... my cousin is kinda stupid and never graduated HS so... Does anyone know how to hook them up or know of a kit i can get to hook them up. i have all the info about the layout and ohms of the amp and i searched the woofers before and i believe they were made in '95. (it was mid 90s for sure) but for wire hookups it has L+, L-, R+, R-, B+, AP, GR

Ive done electric work before but im NO expert. i guess that AP meant Amp Power... am i wrong?... How else do i hook up the amp? do i need a certain cable to?

i have all the cables that originally hooked up the amp to the car but not the original car. i have a car from the same year same make same model and an aftermarket radio(also rockford made) i just dont understand how to hook it up... Anybody know?

im a ****ing idiot.

the card is in the slot. I thought the card would have some sort of ? shit / molded plastic around it or something. its just a green circut board card. lol

again

I **** at this old shit.

lol
